Natural Solutions for Healthy Living

Many of today’s foods are missing essential nutrients. What are YOU eating? Just because it tastes good, doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Not only does your diet lead to many lifestyle-induced diseases, poor diet can slow the healing process and place unnatural demands on your body. Your body has the amazing ability to turn the foods you eat into the energy it needs to move muscles, regulate organs, power the brain, and aid in healing. Your hair, skin, and energy level can all reveal how healthy you are.

Today, with so many prepackaged convenience foods containing high levels of salt, sugars, fats, and preservatives, you must be selective. Many people have been “trained” to enjoy sweet, salty, and fattening foods. While processed food can taste great, it’s difficult for the body to process, and it contains very little nutritional value.

Top-5 “Kevorkian” Foods
1. Sugar- High Fructose Corn Syrup
2. Artificial sweeteners, NutraSweet, aspartame
3. Fried Foods
4. Processed Foods
5. Margarine (hydrogenated oil)

When your body works overtime, it depletes the vitamins and minerals that each cell needs to function properly.

Whole wheat products, brown rice, vegetables, and fruits should be the bulk of your diet. Fats, oils, and sweets should be eaten sparingly.

If you are finding it difficult to consume at least five servings of fruits, vegetables, and natural grains each day, then whole-food supplements may be recommended.

In addition to a healthy diet and the right supplements for your lifestyle, you should drink eight to ten glasses of water each day.

Before embarking on a diet or nutritional program, it’s recommended that you consult with a doctor at HealthFirst who has been trained extensively in nutrition.

Your lifestyle, diet, and physical health are important factors in designing a nutrition program that will work for you.

If you would like to learn more about enhancing your lifestyle and well-being, you are invited to call and request information on our N.E.W. nutritional program. Our N.E.W. program consists of a 58-point bio meridian test with 224-symptom survey form questionnaire and a ten point physical exam. This is a comprehensive nutritional exam that can help detect exactly what organs and systems are stressed.

A purification-detox-weight loss program is also available to help reset and help you get your wellness back.
